Tech Tips by Shawn – Carton Aligner

Check out these tips for successful carton aligner setup and troubleshooting solutions.

The Setup Process

  1. When carton is leaving the feed, align the longest side of the carton to ensure correct alignment.
  2. Gap from aligning wall should be around 1/8". When setting the angle of the bottom belted carrier, be sure to move the top carrier to stay in line with the bottom carrier to ensure correct belt tracking while carton is being aligned.

Troubleshooting

  1. Skewing or hesitation: Make sure the gap between top bearings and bottom belt is a snug one carton thickness gap through out the length of the carton aligner carrier.
  2. Remember to check your feed set up to ensure the aligner can do its job efficiently.
